The Madeira Life project is funded through the Knowledge+ programme (+Conhecimento, part of Intervir+) that was initiated by the Vice-Presidency of the Regional Government of Madeira. This funding programme provides a research incentive for the industry in the Madeira region. Its objective is to intensify the regional R&D efforts and to create new knowledge in order to increase the competitiveness of companies and to stimulate the relationship between companies and organisations in the scientific and technological context.
